How does Dr. Saxena keep up-to-date on all of the current techniques and materials?

Dr. Saxena subscribes to the latest industry journals to keep tabs on research and development in the dental industry. She also takes time on a regular basis for continuing education, and ensures her staff does the same. As a team and as individuals, our office makes it our responsibility to be familiar with the latest techniques and materials available. Dr. Saxena also has a wide variety of colleagues in the area she speaks with on a regular basis concerning new procedures, methods and technologies.

Do you accept referrals?

We are happy to accept referrals from other dental offices as well as from recommendations by our patients to their family and friends. Your referrals are our best compliments! So, to thank you for each patient you refer, we will provide you with two movie passes to be used at any Cinemark Theater location of your choice.

Do you accept my insurance plan?

We accept nearly all of the major insurance plans, and we work with all PPO's, PPN's and PDP's. We are an in-network provider for Metlife, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas, Cigna, Guardian and Aetna. This means we agree to their fee schedule, and are listed in their provider books. Also, we are well-versed in the latest coverage trends, and are more than happy to discuss the particulars of your plan with you prior to any treatments you may undergo.

Will I be charged if I need to cancel an appointment?

In order to maintain a well-run office, we request all appointment cancellations be made at least 24 hours ahead of time. This ensures you will avoid being billed for our time and preparation; it also enables us to work in other patients' emergency visits.

What do I do if I have an emergency when the office is closed?

In case of a true dental emergency, please contact our office at 972-943-9832, dial 9, and let us know the nature of your condition. After you disconnect, our voice mail system will page Dr. Saxena, alerting her to a message. When she returns the page, your voice mail will be played immediately and she will learn the nature of the emergency. Dr. Saxena will return your call as soon as possible, give you helpful information over the phone, and then determine if you need to be seen immediately.

What different payment options do you provide?

We accept cash, personal checks and all major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. Your insurance plan co-pay is due at the time of your visit, but we can bill deductible payments over a period of time according to your particular situation. Also, we are pleased to offer Dental Fee Plan (DFP) to our patients. DFP is a convenient, no initial payment, low monthly payment plan for dental treatments of $1,000 to $25,000. We encourage our patients to have open, direct communication with Dr. Saxena. Therefore, she is available daily to answer your questions either via e-mail or voice mail. Depending on office traffic and the complexity of your questions, she strives to respond within 24 hours.

We understand many people have qualms about having their teeth worked on. So, we strive to create a relaxing atmosphere. For entertainment and distraction, we have flat panel TVs attached to each chair offering you an opportunity to catch up with the latest world and financial news, or you can pop in one of your favorite DVDs so you can keep your mind on more pleasant things. We also offer blankets and foot warmers for your exclusive comfort.
